Tenants of Sun Plaza enjoy the presence of an on-site property manager as well as a maintenance manager, who both take the smooth running of their center very seriously. Their job includes overseeing regular cleaning, after-hour security services, the airconditioning service, landscaping and pest control.
The location of Sun Plaza is probably the best reason for tenants to establish themselves there: it is very visible, close to Oranjestad and the hotels and the large supermarkets and next to an artery road. Its parking facility includes covered parking spaces: these may be rented by tenants who wish to protect their cars against the weather.
Sun Plaza was built in 1994 by a group of investors – it opened its doors for its earliest tenants in October of that year. Among Sun Plaza’s earliest settlers were Golden Scissor, a hairdressing salon and the government offices of Directie Economische Zaken and Centraal Bureau Statistiek. They are still in the right spot!
